For old standard-EN 50088 was die out in 2008, after 2008there are must use new toy standard--IEC62115, below item are different EN50088:

1. LED and Laser must us IEC 60825-1 standard rquire.
2. Toy's scope include Experimental Toy
3. Mechanism Part test change to ISO 8124-1replace to EN71
4. Transformer of Toys must according to IEC 61558-2-7
5. Experimental Toy Mark: Warning: Only for use by children aged 8 years and older，then needs supplier use manual.
6. This standard don't suitable below toys：
• Toy steam engines
• Scale models for adult collectors
• Folk dolls and decorative dolls and other similar articles for adult collectors
• Sports equipment
• Aquatic equipment intended to be used in deep water
• Equipment intended to be used collectively in playgrounds
• Amusement machines (IEC 60335-2-82)
• Professional toys installed in public places (shopping centers, stations, etc.)
• Products containing heating elements intended for use under supervision of an adult in a teaching context
• Portable child-appealing luminaires (IEC 60598-2-10)
• Christmas decoration
